How to enable VirtIO Print

Virtio drivers are a type of paravirtualized device driver specifically designed for KVM virtual machines. These drivers significantly enhance machine performance by reducing I/O latency and boosting throughput to levels comparable to bare-metal machines. This leads to faster, more efficient virtual machine operations, bringing you closer to native performance.

Enabling VirtIO on the VPS

  1. Click the Settings Tab
  2. Select VPS Configuration
  3. Toggle Enable Virtio
  4. Click Submit at the bottom of the page to save the changes
  5. To enable this you will need to restart the server (Stop > Power Off > Stop)

It is important to Power Off the VPS so that the changes are correctly written to the VPS
