Adding Simple Voice Chat to your Minecraft server allows players to communicate more easily and naturally while playing.
Installation Steps
- In your server console, navigate to More → Plugin Installer
- Install the plugin Simple Voice Chat, with the correct version and server software (e.g. Paper)
- Under the Network tab, click on Create Allocation. This will create another port for your server, which can be used for Simple Voice Chat.
- Restart your server
- Edit /plugins/voicechat/voicechat-server.properties and set the port field to the new port allocated
- Restart your server again
You're all set now!
With the server-side plugin installed and the correct port configured, players using the Simple Voice Chat client mod will now be able to communicate in-game via voice.
